NFL executives compare Todd Gurley to NFL stars

After setting the Georgia record for most all-purpose yards in school history (293), Todd Gurley has gotten national attention for his monster game against Clemson.

Daniel Jeremiah of NFL.com posed this question to five NFL executives," Who does Georgia RB Todd Gurley remind you of?"

Two of five executives compared the Georgia star to Seahawks superstar Marshawn Lynch. The executives compared the two saying both are powerful runners who have great vision.

Another executive compared Gurley to Minnesota's Adrian Peterson, who is arguably the best running back in the NFL. That executive said, "He's in the Adrian Peterson mold — big, tall, thick trunk, downhill runner with track speed to finish."

The other two comparisons Gurley received were Jamal Lewis and Fred Taylor.

That's high praise for the junior Dawg, but if he can stay healthy it won't be a shock to anyone if he goes on to have a great career at the next level.
