Rising title contender hints at getting back former No. 1 overall recruit

This is gonna be big.

Georgia's offense is expected to be pretty great this year with Jacob Eason coming back for his sophomore season and with the returning receivers he will have. However, it's looking like the Bulldogs are going to get back one of their more important defensive pieces. According to Georgia's Snapchat account, defensive tackle Trenton Thompson will be back with the team for this season:

The 6'4", 309-pound monster played every game last season, but withdrew from classes in the spring because of a serious medical issue that was exacerbated by a run-in with a police officer who called for an EMS the night he was found wandering around incoherently.

Thompson recorded 56 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss and five sacks last season while also breaking up a pass.
