Georgia defensive tackle Trenton Thompson was expected to be a potential first round NFL Draft pick this season, but could never quite get it all together this year. However, his sophomore season might have been strong enough to go off and get to the NFL Draft. However, it looks like he won't be making that move this season:

Thompson had some weight issues in spring that he had to take care of and ended up having a shoulder issue. However, he led the team in sacks the previous year and also in tackles for loss. So it wouldn't have been too surprising to see him go. But getting him back for another season would be huge assuming he is fully healthy and can give the Dawgs the kind of season they were hoping to get from him this year.
The 6-foot-4, 309-pound tackle was the No. 1 recruit in the entire 2015 class according to 247Sports. Now they are hoping he can play like it again after recording 33 total tackles, three tackles for loss and a pass break up this season.
