With another transfer, one SEC school is begging for its QB to stay

Very classy move here.

The Georgia Bulldogs may have two best, young pro-style quarterbacks in college football heading into the 2017-18 college football season, but Kirby Smart's team has suddenly found themselves in a hole without anyone behind them with Parker McLeod leaving the program.

However, Brice Ramsey is going to stay with the Bulldogs through the spring after Smart asked Ramsey to stick around a bit longer before transferring.

Via SaturdayDownSouth:

"I'll let you know since you'll see it today, Brice (Ramsey) is going to be there and help us," Smart said during his introductory press conference. "He's going to be a guy who's out there, not from a scheme standpoint, but he's going to help. He's loyal to this program. He's been very appreciative and has handled everything in a first-class manner. We asked him to help and he said 'Absolutely, I'll come out there.' But not from a standpoint of taking reps away. We're talking a standpoint of can we get enough balls being thrown? He's going to do that."

It's also noted that Smart would like to have five quarterbacks available, so it comes as no surprise that Smart really needed Ramsey to stay a bit longer, but it also benefits Ramsey as he prepares to move on and stay in-shape before heading to his new school.

Ramsey certainly didn't have to stick around, but it's definitely nice to see if you're a Bulldog fan.
