Former Texas Tech wide receiver Jonathan Giles is perhaps the best player available in college football right now, as he is fresh off a 1,158-yard and 13 touchdown season with the Red Raiders. After initially releasing a top 10 last week, Giles had narrowed his choices to Oregon, LSU, and Florida State. It looks like he has already made up his mind though as he sent out a commitment tweet:
While Giles is only 5’11” — relatively short for a receiver — he quickly emerged as a weapon in Texas Tech’s high-powered offense, leading the team in receiving and touchdowns by his sophomore year. Though Giles will have to sit out a year after transferring, he should still have two years of eligibility remaining with the Tigers.
