Five-star LSU commit Kardell Thomas says his recruitment is 'shaken' with others trying to flip him

This sounds pretty big for the young man.

Five-star offensive guard Kardell Thomas has been committed to LSU since July of 2016 so he has been pretty steadfast in his commitment despite being another year away from landing on campus. However, now that he's getting a ton of attention in his junior year, it sounds like a flip may be coming.

He told 247Sports at the Under Armour Future 50 Camp that his recruitment has him thinking about other places though.

"It's been shaken up a bit. Georgia's coming hard every day. Oklahoma is coming hard. We talk every day.

"LSU, I'm still with them, but it's shaken. A side of me wants to go play for a national championship and then a side of me wants to come make this program better. I'm trying to find what I want to do with myself now."

Thomas did clarify that he is committed to LSU right now, but also said that the Sooners, Bulldogs and Crimson Tide are on him pretty hard.

"Georgia is probably No. 1 on my list right now. I got to get back there. I liked it. It's them, OU and Alabama shaking it up for LSU right now," Thomas said. "Even though they (Oklahoma) lost to Georgia, it was a great game and they had a magical season."

The 6-foot-4, 320-pound behemoth is ranked as the top player at his position and the No. 2 recruit in the state of Louisiana as well as the No. 22 overall recruit in the country according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He also has offers from Florida, Arizona State, Texas, Florida State  and Texas Tech among others.
