Country music star and former lead singer of Hootie and the Blowfish Darius Rucker is a famous alum of South Carolina and a die hard Gamecocks fan.

Rucker promised a free concert for students only if the Gamecocks made a bowl game in Will Muschamp's first season as head coach, and South Carolina did in fact reach a bowl game. Rucker is making good on his promise Wednesday night at Colonial Life Arena, and he tweeted about the show earlier in the day.

Clemson is fresh off of a national championship in football, but South Carolina just took home the title in women's basketball and made a Final Four in men's basketball.
