Alabama staffer officially jumping to another SEC school

The former coordinator is jumping yet again.

According to The State, South Carolina head coach Will Muschamp announced on Friday that Alabama analyst Dan Werner will become the next quarterbacks coach with the Gamecocks.

Werner spent the season with Alabama after he was fired as Ole Miss' offensive coordinator following the 2016 season. Werner was fired prior to the scandal that eventually cost Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze his job.

Muschamp had the spots to fill after he had fired Kurt Roper, who acted as the team's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Roper has since been hired by Colorado.
