Four-star Tennessee DB commit reopens recruitment

UGH.

Four-star 2018 safety Brendon Harris, who has been committed to Tennessee since May, announced that he has reopened his recruitment to all schools via Twitter on Tuesday.

Harris is the latest Vols commit to reopen his recruitment following wide receiver Jatavious Harris, who announced his decision to reopen his recruitment on Monday. The Chattanooga native remains committed, but his decision doesn't bode well for a Tennessee program in disarray.

The Vols are coming off a 41-0 home loss to Georgia, which was the program's first shutout since 1994. Head coach Butch Jones faces uncertainty after entering the season on the hot seat and putting together a string of disappointing performances.

Harris currently ranks as the No. 17 safety in the 2018 national recruiting cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
