Tennessee fan escaped arrest for anti-Butch Jones vandalism at Bryant-Denny in embarrassing fashion

He took it too far.

Butch Jones is probably not long in his position as head coach of Tennesee football, but there's still no excuse for vandalism.

A Tennessee fan at Bryant-Denny Stadium found that out the hard way after the Volunteers' embarrassing loss to No. 1 Alabama, and in the process, said fan got a heavy dose of double-embarrassment.

Not only did his team lose, 45-7, but he was forced to stay after the game and clean up his vandalism attempt on the Bryant-Denny bleachers.

JD Lloyd passed on the picture, which shows the Tennessee fan having a conversation regarding his anti-Butch Jones take, which seems to be rather NSFW.

The fan is clearly trying to plead his case and convince the police officers that the vandalism was warranted — and if they were Tennesee fans they'd probably agree — but at the end of the day rules and rules, and frankly, this guy got off lucky.

He could have been arrested, charged, and at the very least he would have had to pay a hefty fine. Instead, he was forced to clean up his mess much like a toddler would be forced to do the same thing at home.

To make things worse, though, his embarrassment was caught for the whole world to see on Twitter.

For what it's worth, anti-Jones takes are becoming the norm for Volunteer nation, but this guy took it too far.
