Butch Jones’ reaction to Tennessee’s game-winnner may have been better than the play itself

Butch Jones had all the emotions.

Butch Jones and the No. 11 Tennessee Volunteers (5-0, 2-0) pulled off one of the greatest stunners we've seen this year against the No. 25 Georgia Bulldogs (3-2, 1-2) winning 34-31. Down three with four seconds left in the game, Josh Dobbs unfurled a Hail Mary pass into the end zone and it was caught by quarterback-turned-receiver Juaun Jennings.

It was the most unlikely finish to a game yet and the pressure that this team and coach were feeling in the week leading up to the game was absolutely staggering. You can see how much the win meant to Jones as he fell to his knees after the catch and sobbed on the field.

That's why it's so much fun to watch college football. The players and the coaches have so much love for the game and Jones might have a lot more than some. His undefeated Vols squad will face the No. 9 Texas A&M Aggies (5-0, 3-0) in College Station next week and Jones is probably hoping for something a little less dramatic.
