CFB expert somehow thinks Tennessee looked better in loss to A&M than in any wins this season

Is he serious?

Tennessee used up all of its pixie dust against Texas A&M when it got a timely touchback that should have gone for an Aggie touchdown and took advantage of it by scoring to even up the game at 35-35. The game went into double overtime with the Aggies eventually pulling out the win 45-38.

While Tennessee had its moments in the game and even outgained A&M in total yards 684-592, it had seven turnovers and was pretty sloppy at times. Yet FOX Sports' Stewart Mandel thinks Tennessee is the eighth-best team in the country. Here's what he thought of the performance against Texas A&M.

"The Vols were arguably more impressive in defeat at Texas A&M than they were in their five victories. RB Alvin Kamara had himself a game for the ages, producing 288 rushing/receiving yards."

So basically, Mandel thinks Tennessee is a top tier team after one of its worst performance of the year and that it shot itself in the foot on several occasions throughout the game. This is officially madness.
