Clay Travis is calling for Butch Jones' head and his replacement is absolutely asinine

That seems a bit radical.

There are going to be quite a few fans and analysts who will be upset with the kind of game that Tennessee played against a lowly South Carolina team on Saturday. The Vols lost 24-21 amid some incredibly questionable coaching and terrible play on the offensive side of the ball.

The Vols only managed 297 total yards against one of the worst teams in the SEC and lost against a team who's quarterback should still be a senior in high school. Josh Dobbs threw two picks and the Vols lost a fumble for a total of three turnovers, which pretty much decided the game.

FOX Sports' Clay Travis was particularly annoyed with the mediocrity of this program and went so far as to suggest who the next coach should be.

The Vols won't do it, but if I were AD, I'd fire Butch Jones at the end of this year and pay Bobby Petrino $8 million a year to take over at Tennessee.

And by the way, that would make Petrino higher paid than Nick Saban who has actually won some titles in his time at Alabama. I might overreact too though if I had lost five straight games to Will Muschamp at two different schools.
