Four-star LB Malik Langham says one SEC school has a 'great shot' at landing his commitment

This could be a huge get for one SEC team.

Tennessee is still in consideration for one of its top remaining targets, four-star defensive lineman Malik Langham, who confirmed to 247Sports that the Vols still "have a good shot" at receiving his commitment.

"I had interest in them with the last coaching staff. This coaching staff reinforced the offer," Langham said during an appearance on VSporto's SEC Recruiting Buzz podcast. "Coach Pruitt recruited me to Alabama, and while Coach Rocker was there, he recruited me to Georgia. Me and them already have a great relationship.

"I've been up there three times, and what I like most is it's close to home (and) just the atmosphere, the fans and the great football tradition they have."

Langham wouldn't reveal which program he plans to commit to, but has a favorite among his final three of Tennessee, Alabama and Florida, with just three weekends remaining until National Signing Day on Feb. 7.

"I'm just going to keep it to myself," Langham said.

The Vols do, however, have the advantage of hosting the four-star prospect on Feb. 3, the final weekend before National Signing Day.

Langham is also scheduled to take an official visit to Alabama this weekend and Florida one week later.

The Huntsville native ranks as the No. 18 strong-side defensive end, No. 11 player from the state of Alabama and the No. 433 overall prospect for the 2018 national recruiting cycle, according to the 247Sports Composite.
