Well this didn't take long!
Just two weeks ago, four-star quarterback Adrian Martinez (6-foot-2, 198 pounds, Fresno, Ca.) announced that he was decommitting from Cal. The decision raised many eyebrows at the time, as Martinez had just finished a visit to Tennessee when he made that decision.
Well, it looks like we can confirm that those two things were related, as Martinez announced a new commitment to Tennessee on Friday afternoon.
With the commit, Tennessee now has 10 commitments and they currently rank eighth in 247Sports' recruiting rankings.
Martinez is rated as a Top 10 quarterback by both ESPN (No. 3) and 247Sports (No. 7). He is a consensus four-star across all major recruiting services.
