Tennessee fan’s family uses obituary to cite Vols as contributor in fan’s death

Vols fans might need this bye week more than the players.

The Tennessee Volunteers have given their fans plenty of exhilarating moments so far this season, and one family decided to take a lighthearted shot at the Vols in an obituary for a family member.

James Herbers passed away on Oct. 15, and his obituary closed with this, via Knox News:

"The Tennessee Volunteers lost one of their biggest fans, even though they may have contributed to cardiac arrest."

Tennessee is off this week before traveling to Columbia to take on South Carolina, and Vols fans might need this bye week more than the players.
