Tennessee set to make TV history against Alabama on Saturday

I would have never guessed this.

Tennessee has had a pretty incredible season so far going 5-1 while running through a gauntlet of teams featuring Florida, Texas A&M and Georgia. This week's challenge is Alabama at home after a heartbreaking defeat to the Aggies last week that required two overtimes.

Thanks to Tennessee's unprecedented scheduling and it's flair for the dramatic it was chosen to appear on the CBS broadcast again this week. That marks a record for the conference and CBS as it turns out.

Tennessee is hoping to finish 3-1 in that span rather than 2-2 so the Vols can still have a shot at the SEC Championship come December.
