Colin Cowherd calls one surprising team 'most underachieving program in the country'

He didn't hold back at all.

Paul Finebaum might think that Alabama has been underachieving the past eight seasons and he is absolutely ludicrous for thinking that. However, Fox Sports counterpart Colin Cowherd thinks another SEC has been a massive underachiever and he might actually be on to something here.

He mentions that the Aggies have really only had "two great first-round players" since 1995 in a state that has some of the most football talent in the country. He is likely referencing receiver Mike Evans and Von Miller who were both top 10 picks and have had great careers so far in their short time in the league.

Cowherd called the Aggies a "flaky program" in regards to their history of transfers like Kyler Murray, Kenny Hill and Kyle Allen most recently. While Cowherd tends to be a blowhard about these things, he did provide some statistical context in that the Aggies have only had one double-digit winning season since 1998 and have only finished with a top-25 ranking three times in 17 years.

Of course, he also went on to blow it out of proportion by saying the "culture is off" and that they're "no better than Arkansas" so take that with a grain of salt. He also said that the continual high expectations from fans contribute to why they underachieve so much.
