Gene Stallings and Steve Spurrier are two absolute legends in the SEC. Both won National Championships and met six times head-to-head. Two of those games were in Atlanta for the SEC Championship in 1994 when Florida won 24-23 and in 1996 when Florida won 45-30 on its way to its first national title.

Stallings’ Crimson Tide won the SEC and national title in 1992 while Spurrier won five SEC Coach of the Year awards and six SEC titles.
