Despite commitment to Ohio State, four-star CB Sevyn Banks to take several visits

This is getting interesting.

Four-star CB Sevyn Banks may have committed to Urban Meyer and the Ohio State Buckeyes, but the big-time cornerback still reportedly plans visit other programs outside of Columbus, OH. this fall.

According to the report from 247sports:

"Banks tentatively plans to use trips to Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Maryland, as well as Ohio State in the fall."

Banks is in a very interesting position, as he missed all of last season due to an injury, and, with his senior season ahead of him, it makes sense to see what else is out there, especially after he steps back onto the gridiron.

It's also interesting that 247sports' Crystal Ball predictions had Banks picking the Florida Gators with a 100 percent prediction before he committed to Ohio State this spring.

He's received 30 offers overall that include South Carolina, Alabama, Clemson, LSU, Notre Dame and many other big-time programs. So, perhaps Banks taking these visits shows he may still be weighing his options ahead of his critical 2017 season this fall.

Banks is the No. 26 CB in the class of 2018.
