According to SportsDay, SMU defensive line commit Leonard Parks passed away on Saturday night.

Details are currently unclear on what caused Parks’ passing, but SportsDay is reporting that he passed away in his sleep in Saturday night as he was taking a nap. The family has since asked for privacy as they deal with the situation.




Parks was rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports. The Texarkana, Texas product committed to SMU in July, picking the Mustangs over schools like UL-Monroe and Missouri State.
