Two head coaches started arguing on the field during an injury timeout

Well this didn't look pretty.

Well this was bizarre.

During Saturday's TexSlayer Bowl between Kentucky and Georgia Tech, head coaches Mark Stoops and Paul Johnson started yelling at each other across the field during an injury timeout for a hurt Kentucky player.

Stoops was upset after his team's second injury of the first quarter, which he was apparently blaming on Georgia Tech's use of cut blocks. Johnson eventually took exception at Stoops and started yelling back, and Johnson has a point; replay showed the injury being caused by a regular block at the offensive line, not a low cut block.

However, Stoops' arguing may have paid off, as Georgia Tech did get called for a chop block later in the game.
