The nation's No. 1 WR names the emerging teams in his recruitment

The nation's No. 1 WR made some noise on Saturday:

Terrace Marshall is the No. 1 wide receiver prospect in the country for the 2018 class and that means he is the target of recruiting advances from virtually every program in the country. With that said, the 6'2, 195-pound pass-catcher from Parkway (La.) should be narrowing his choices in the near future and he shared a bit of insight with EJ Holland of 247Sports to that end.

In the midst of a conversation surrounding his leaders, Marshall noted that he "can relate to the coaches at LSU" and the five-star wide receiver also indicated that the Tigers' staff is "honest" throughout the process. Beyond that, Marshall also spoke glowingly of both TCU and Texas A&M and he had this to say about the Horned Frogs:

"I love the coaches at TCU. Coach (Sonny) Cumbie is a good man. I love Coach (Rusty) Burns. We have a great relationship. If I were to go to TCU, I feel like he could teach me a lot. It's a great school and a great program. I really like them."

Marshall, according to 247Sports, is a consensus top-10 overall player in the country and it is a safe bet that he'll be hearing from just about everyone in the near future. Still, this type of sentiment is undoubtedly positive for the three schools mentioned and they could be at the forefront moving forward.
