This powerhouse has landed a giant 6'7" tackle who should make running a lot easier

This guy should be somewhere blocking shots, not pass rushers!

The UCLA Bruins just got even bigger up front with the addition of offensive tackle Ronald Rudd III, who announced his commitment to UCLA Monday, via Twitter.

Rudd, a 6'7" JUCO transfer was ranked the No. 3 junior college player in California.

In his announcement, Rudd wrote a heart-felt letter to his family and coaches at Chaffey College where he spent just one season.

With all of the departures from last year's unit — senior Jake Brendel and juniors Caleb Benenoch and Alex Redmond heading for the NFL and Fred Ulu-Perry transferred to Hawaii — the Bruins are going to need all the help up front they can get. Locking in the 6-foot-7, 317-pound Rudd can go a long way in ensuring the drop off is minimal.
