This Top 10 recruit is pulling a surprise official visit to a prime match-up on Saturday

One of the top players in the Class of 2017 is surprising everyone with this official visit.

Baron Browning ranks among the clear elite when it comes to the Class of 2017 and, on Saturday, he will be watching one of the best games in college football this season.

Browning, who stands at 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds, will be making his official visit to Ann Arbor to watch the game between the Michigan Wolverines and the Wisconsin Badgers, and this is a coup for Jim Harbaugh and his staff. Browning ranks as the No. 9 player in the country according to 247Sports, and he is a consensus five-star recruit coming out of Kennedale High School in Texas as a standout linebacker.

At this point, Browning is basically holding offers from every major program in the country, with Texas and Ohio State on the reported short list. Still, Harbaugh has enjoyed major success in recruiting since arriving at his alma mater, and impressing Browning with a strong performance against a top-10 team in Wisconsin could go a long way toward making a lasting impact.

Baron Browning may not end up playing linebacker at Michigan, but the fact that the Wolverines have secured an official visit on a prime recruiting weekend is undoubtedly encouraging. All eyes will be on his movements in Ann Arbor throughout his trip.
