Seems like he wants to be a big fish in a small pond.

Lane Kiffin's hype video for Florida Atlantic must have resonated with recruits.

Three-star junior college receiver DeAndre McNeal announced he is committing to Florida Atlantic over UCLA. McNeal has high hopes going forward.

"I know FAU can make me the top wide receiver in the nation," McNeal said, according to 247Sports. "I already know their offense and I know I will get the ball there. At this point in my life I don't need to go where I know I'm going to play and be used."

McNeal has two years of eligibility remaining, and he is the No. 8 junior college wide receiver in this class, according to 247Sports. He originally signed with Texas out of high school before enrolling in junior college. He caught 36 passes for 616 yards and six touchdowns last fall.

McNeal's commitment is a huge addition for Kiffin and the Owls entering the 2017 season, and a bit surprising considering he chose FAU over UCLA.
