A WWE star has reportedly been pulled from a title match due to injury

Oh no, that's awful.

It looks like bad injury news has gotten worse for one of WWE's rising stars.

WWE NXT women's title challenger Ember Moon appears to have suffered an arm injury at recent television tapings, as evidence by her wearing a sling and sitting out matches at house shows. It now appears that the injury is serious enough to take her out of a scheduled title match at the NXT Chicago show on May 20, as the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Moon has been removed from advertising from the match.

Without Moon, the match would become a triple-threat between 400-plus day champion Asuka and challengers Ruby Riot and Nikki Cross.

Moon had been placed as the top contender for the NXT women's championship, and there was a decent chance that she was winning the title at that show. We wish her a speedy recovery so she can get back in the ring as soon as possible.
