After that unreal beating, here's what could be next.

Goldberg's return to WWE stunned the wrestling world Sunday night, when he absolutely decimated Brock Lesnar, hitting just three moves before the quick pin.

WWE may have a pretty good reason for his domination of the former UFC champ, as Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Goldberg has already inked a deal to participate in this year's Royal Rumble. The phrasing would appear to note that the deal is for the former WCW champion to take part in the actual 30-man battle royal, which will go on from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

The Wrestling Observer noted Monday morning that a rematch is also in the works with Brock Lesnar, but there are no details of when that will be.

There's no word on his status past that January event, but typically being a big part in two of the big four events means a spot on the WrestleMania card.

Goldberg hadn't wrestled in a WWE ring since 2004. The Wrestling Observer also notes Goldberg's reported shoulder injury did not play into WWE's decision for him to squash Lesnar.

We'll see how it all plays out. Regardless, it's already been a fun ride.
