WWE champion robbed while performing on Monday night

According to KAIT 8 out of Arkansas, current WWE champion A.J. Styles was robbed of his belongings on Monday night while he was performing at a WWE live event.

Styles, real name Allen Jones, reported the loss of $8,000 in U.S. and Japanese currencies and multiple electronics while at Arkansas State on Monday. Styles had previously been a star in Japan before finally joining WWE in January of last year.

KAIT 8 reported that police are still investigating the matter. Style still appeared on Tuesday's episode of SmackDown Live as scheduled, and he is currently planning to defend his WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble next Sunday against John Cena.
