One of the best young pitchers in baseball has been suspended without pay by his team

What is going on in that clubhouse?

What's going on with Matt Harvey?

That's the million dollar question. The New York Mets, in a short, terse statement, said their star righthander has been suspended without pay for three games and was sent home, so he'll miss his scheduled start Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Mets General manager Sandy Alderson made the announcement before the game, and manager Terry Collins wouldn't get into specifics, so no one know why we was suspended.

Newsday reported it wasn't because of a somewhat vulgar prank that occurred in the Mets clubhouse Friday and captured on a Twitter post:

The Mets (14-15) are second in the NL East behind Washington. Harvey, their 28-year-old flame thrower, has had a rough couple of season after going 13-8 in 2015. Since then, he's only won six games since last season with a combined ERA approaching 5 runs per game.
