High school football teams combined for 174 points in a game where defense was non-existent

You'd think this was an NBA game, judging by that scoreboard!

It was a close game, but Utah's Jordan (Sandy) edged out Taylorsville 91-83 on Friday night. And no, that's not a basketball score.

That's the final score of a high school football game, as the two teams combined for 174 points, setting all sorts of records.

You can imagine there were no defensive records set as both quarterbacks had 11 touchdowns each, a new state record for most touchdowns by a quarterback.

Jordan's Crew Wakley threw seven touchdown passes and had four rushing touchdowns, including an 82-yard scamper.

Taylorsville's Dane Leituala threw eight touchdown passes and ran for three scores. Six of his touchdown passes were for 30 yards are more. He also tied the state record for touchdown passes thrown.

Either their offensive coordinators need raises, or their defensive coordinators need new jobs.
