Australian Open upset goes down the tubes after player gets hit in the soft spot

When Slovakia's Martin Klizan conceded a point to Stan Wawrinka during their first round match at the Australian Open Monday, he definitely wasn't expecting it turn the match, and his man zone into a target.

But it did. On both counts. The 4th-seeded Swiss player tracked down Klizan's sitter of a volley then crushed it, right into Klizan's most sensitive of areas as he stood motionless , apparently waiting for Wawrinka to hit it into the open court.

Making matters worse for upset-minded world number 34, after losing the point, he lost hold of the match, which up until that point was tied at two sets all and 4-4 in the fifth set.

Wawrinka went on to win the next two games and close out the match 4-6, 6-4, 7-5, 4-6, 6-4.
