Colin Cowherd makes an absurd claim about NBA star Russell Westbrook

He's setting the league on fire, so how can this be?

More than two months into the NBA season, Russell Westbrook is averaging a triple double.

Westbrook is averaging 30.9 points, 10.5 rebounds and 10.5 assists per game, and he has his Oklahoma City Thunder at 21-15. Yet, Fox Sports radio host Colin Cowherd thinks Westbrook is "miserable" in Oklahoma City, while Kevin Durant has never been happier.

Cowherd might be right about Durant — he's on the best team in the league, and his Golden State Warriors are likely going to the NBA Finals. But to say Westbrook is miserable is absurd. He has been the MVP of the league for the first two months, and it will likely be between him, James Harden and LeBron James for the award at season's end.

The Thunder aren't winning a title, but OKC is Westbrook's team, and he prefers it that way. It's possible both players are happier given their current situations. It's tough to find a way to be displeased with a player who's averaging a triple double, but Cowherd still found a way.
