The Cleveland Cavaliers may have added another weapon to their arsenal with the acquisition of three-point specialist Kyle Korver, but according to LeBron James the team still needs to make more roster moves to be complete.
And James insists that includes bringing on a playmaker.
"We still got a couple more things we need to do, We got to get a point guard." James said Friday, adding that he's done echoing what he's been lobbying for since Wednesday when the Cavs lost to the Chicago Bulls. ""Yeah, it's my last time saying it. We need a point guard."
If the deal for Korver also includes Mike Dunleavy, that would put Cleveland at the 15 player maximum. But under the current structure of the trade, the Cavs would send Mo Williams, Dunleavy and a protected 2019 first-round draft pick to the Atlanta Hawks in return for Korver.

With the contracts of DeAndre Liggins and Jordan McRae reportedly not becoming fully guaranteed until Jan. 1o, the team could also decide to send one or both packing to make room for other roster moves.
But James knows what he wants and compares the point guard position to a quarterback in football, saying just as NFL teams have three quarterbacks, NBA teams should have three point guards.
"...You look at our league, most teams have three point guards," he said. "We only have two, with [Kyrie Irving] and our rook in Kay [Felder]. I think just having that secure blanket [is important]. Every NFL team has three quarterbacks. Having that secure blanket in case of a [situation like the Raiders losing Derek Carr]. We'll see what happens, but we're happy with our team right now."
Grabbing a third point guard that's a veteran would also help the team give Irving some rest down the road when they need him for the playoffs in April.
