Kendrick Perkins is a bonafide thug on the basketball court. He has gotten into more than his fair share of fights and done some unsavory things. He added another one of those to his list Friday night when he clearly clotheslined Portland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard.
The hit earned an ejection for the big man. Really, Perkins? Just because you're slow and can't play defense anymore doesn't mean you can pretend you're a wrestler now. If there's going to be a foul make sure it's a clean one. This is the kind of stuff that earns guys suspensions and the ire of the league. To do that to one of the league's rising stars is just a dirty play and completely unnecessary.
