LeBron James reportedly the victim of a disgusting hate crime

Disgusting.

TMZ.com is reporting that LeBron James' Los Angeles home was vandalized and the intruders left a despicable message.

"Here's what we know ... multiple LAPD units and a neighborhood patrol vehicle responded to the home early Wednesday morning. We're told the (n) word was scrawled on the outer gate."

TMZ reported that police hope to find the suspects with footage from surveillance cameras. The graffiti was spray painted on the front gate of his Los Angeles home, and has since been covered up, TMZ reported.

The Cleveland Cavaliers open the NBA Finals at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday against the Golden State Warriors in a best-of-seven contest.
