Michael Jordan’s Steak House Offers “Space Jam” Combo Meal

In sports, there aren't many bigger names than Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan. From championships to commercials, MJ changed the game forever and his impact hasn't stopped since he retired for good over 15 years ago.

We all remember Air Jordan for different reasons, although his baseball career probably shouldn't be one of them. No matter where you turn, all across the world, his name, face, and brand can be found. However, there's no bigger presence than in the Windy City.

After leaving the NBA with six championships and more accolades than any athlete could ever dream of, Jordan tapped into the fine dining business. He's opened Michael Jordan's Steak House with locations in New York City, in Ucasville, Connecticut, in Ridgefield, Washington, and, of course, Chicago, Illinois.

Located on the Magnificent Mile on Michigan Avenue, Michael Jordan's Chicago steakhouse is featuring a one-of-a-kind menu item. In honor of the 1996 movie Space Jam, there is now a combo meal that even includes "Mike's Secret Stuff."

According to Eater Chicago, this new Space Jam combo is not your typical steakhouse meal.

"The combo, offered to customers at the bar, features a burger with barbecue braised pork belly, pickled onions, dill pickle, stout mustard, butterkäse, and aged cheddar. It comes with fries and a special salted-caramel milkshake, dubbed "Mike's Secret Stuff," for $27. The combo is available during every Bulls home game through April 13."

This is taking the private dining experience to a new level due to nostalgia alone.

Appetizers like garlic bread and crab cakes don't stand a chance. Neither do entrees like scallops or USDA Prime steaks like filet mignon, bone-in ribeye, MJ's Delmonico or the dry-aged porterhouse. Sides such as mashed potatoes or desserts like the 23 Layer Chocolate Cake don't matter, either.

When you have the chance to eat a Space Jam-inspired meal off the menu, you do it.

"We're doing it with really great ingredients and going over the top," executive chef Craig Couper said, via Eater Chicago.

Even if you aren't much of a burger fan, or a Chicago Bulls fan, what would really stop you from trying this?

It might be time to watch Space Jam again, too.
