The previous record was held by Donyell Marshall and Kobe Bryant with 12. Curry actually had a game last season where he hit 1 and another where he hit 12 so it was only a matter of time until he got the magic number 13. It also took him only 17 attempts so he was pretty efficient about it and wasn’t just gunning for the record.
