After getting picked in the second round, Roberto Aguayo's career just hit another stumbling block

We'll see if the Florida State alum can turn things around.

Following a disastrous start to his NFL career, the guy the Tampa Bay Buccaneers used a second-round pick on, Roberto Aguayo, is facing another uphill battle.

The team signed veteran kicker Nick Folk on Friday, who will be his direct competition:

Fans taunted Aguayo last preseason with the "Warchant" cry famous of his alma mater, FSU after a disastrous showing (per JoeBucsFan). It only got worse from there, as during the last practice open to fans, the Bucs refused to trot out Aguayo for a field goal or extra-point attempt, per ESPN.

A second-round pick out of Florida State after nailing 88.5 percent of his attempts and all of his extra-point attempts during his college career, Aguayo had enlisted a "mental coach," after missing three kicks in two preseason games.

Aguayo went on to connect on 22-of-31 attempts (71.0 percent), while Folk connected on 27of-31 attempts (87.1 percent).

We'll see if the Florida State alum can turn things around.
