Bizarre public move possibly hinting at Eddie Lacy jumping to conference rival

He's certainly motivated and it would be a slap in the face to make this move.

Eddie Lacy may be ready to make a Brett Favre-esque jump.

The standout running back who has dealt with weight and consistency issues may be hinting at jumping from the Green Bay Packers to the Minnesota Vikings judging from an Instagram decision of all things. As first picked up by a Green Bay Packers forum, Lacy unfollowed the Packers on social media and followed a fan account Vikings Graphics.

Lacy is on a visit to the Vikings and could become the top back in Minnesota after Adrian Peterson left for the open market.

Lacy, a former second-round pick, has started 48 games over the past four seasons. After consecutive 1,000-yard seasons to start his career, Lacy dropped off to just over 700 yards two years ago. He plummeted to just 360 yards in five starts last season with zero scores.

He's certainly motivated and it would be a slap in the face to the place he called home over the past four seasons to jump to a division rival.
