Colin Kaepernick reportedly takes another hit from his decision to not vote

It looks like more controversy surrounds the 49ers quarterback.

Colin Kaepernick revealed last week that he had no intentions of voting in the 2016 Presidential Election, which is something that gained him scorn from even some of his past allies from the national anthem protest controversy.

That decision to not vote wasn't just limited to the 2016 election, according to the Sacramento Bee.

Kaepernick, who was raised in Turlock, turned 18 in 2005, but he has not registered to vote in California at any point in the last decade, according to records maintained by the California Secretary of State. He also did not register in Nevada while he attended the University of Nevada, Reno, from 2006 to 2010, according to the Washoe County Registrar of Voters.

While Kaepernick said that his decision not to vote was because he didn't believe in either major candidate, it now appears that Kaepernick has never voted in any major election from the times that he has lived in California and Nevada.

Considering that Kaepernick was blaming the two candidates in this election for his decision, this probably isn't the best look for him.
