NFL's biggest rising star has been accused of some shady dealings

This is not a good look.

The Dallas Cowboys' starting quarterback Dak Prescott may be in some trouble, as ESPN's Darren Rovell is reporting that the former Mississippi State star has signed previous autographs with a machine rather than by hand.

The Cowboys, who have already had a disastrous offseason off-the-field, along with the looming Ezekiel Elliott suspension rumors, this is not the kind of story they needed in July.

Via ESPN:

"Steve Grad, principal authenticator at Beckett, said his company looked at five autographed cards from collectors who received Prescott autograph redemptions from Panini's 2016 Prizm set."

"They had a very machine-like feel," Grad said. "You could see the starts and stops."

Beckett, the company involved in the authentication of the autographs, has refused to sign-off on the signatures being authentic according to the story.

It's also interesting that Grad notes that he can't recall another athlete using this method for autographs before.

Prescott threw for 23 touchdowns to just four interceptions for the Cowboys in 2016-17.
