NFL veteran Derrick Mason has been arrested on domestic violence charges, according to the Tennessean.

According to the report, the 43-year-old Mason was charged with felony aggravated domestic assault and misdemeanor vandalism.

The woman involved reportedly told Mason she no longer wanted to be in a relationship with him, which resulted in the former NFL standout allegedly grabbing her by the neck, hitting her in the stomach and knocking a hole in the back of a wooden front door.

Authorities reportedly found bruising, a red mark and a scratch on the woman.

Mason played 15 seasons in the NFL, splitting time with the Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans and New York Jets.

Mason was a two-time Pro Bowler, was an All-Pro wideout in 2000 and played in the playoffs eight times.
