Mark Schlereth started at ESPN in 2001 after his NFL career was over, and now it looks like he has moved on as Schlereth suddenly debuted on FOX Sports 1 on Tuesday.
Schlereth made the debut on Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless' Undisputed program, and it appears that Schlereth will be an NFL analyst for the network going forward.
Pro Football Talk mentions that Schlereth was close with former FOX executive Jamie Horowitz, who was just fired a couple of weeks ago. Speculation is that Schlereth likely had a deal in place with the network before all of that went down.
Schlereth played for 11 seasons in the NFL as an offensive lineman before he joined ESPN in 2001. Schlereth is a two-time Pro Bowler and a three-time Super Bowl champion.
