Gossip. Nothing more than gossip.

That's Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones' take on the rumored three-team blockbuster trade that would have sent Tony Romo to division rival Washington, Kirk Cousin to the San Francisco 49ers, and a bevy of draft picks to Dallas.

Jones also told reporters that he's still not ready to concede that Romo will be playing for another team this year.

Most people still expect Romo to be released, and he's apparently prepared to take a pay cut to join the Denver Broncos. Houston still may be in play as a destination, too.

But it makes sense for Jones to hold out as long as possible to see if he can get anything for Romo.  That's why he won't say what his future holds.
