Former Super Bowl champion "went AWOL," won't play in Week 2

That's bizarre.

Former Super Bowl champion and one-time Pro Bowler Lawrence Timmons apparently won't play in Week 2 after he apparently went AWOL and the Miami Dolphins had to track him down.

Timmons is a former No. 15 overall selection by the Pittsburgh Steelers. This is his first season with the Miami Dolphins after spending the last 10 seasons with the Steelers.

He's started 126 games, with 680 tackles, 35.5 sacks, 13 forced fumbles and 12 interceptions.
