Player who committed a dirty hit against a two-time Pro Bowler gets massive fine.

Houston Texans safety Marcus Gilchrist knocked Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce out of Sunday night's game after a vicious helmet-to-helmet collision, and Gilchrist has been issued a hefty fine by the NFL.

The hit forced Kelce to leave the game with a concussion, and Gilchrist has been fined $24, 309 for the hit.

Gilchrist said he doesn't plan to appeal the fine, and this will be the first fine of his career.

The Chiefs went on to defeat the Texans without Kelce, but the star tight end is in concussion protocol after the hit.
