Panthers make stunning decision on Michael Oher following concussion issues, off-field drama

Oh boy...

Left tackle Michael Oher has been playing for the Carolina Panthers the last two seasons, including one where they went to Super Bowl 50 and lost to the Denver Broncos. However, it seems his time with the team has come to an end.

Apparently he failed his physical with the team:

The Panthers also might have had some issues with him off the field as he called out former teammates after they were found celebrating and praising the firing of former GM Dave Gettleman. He left this post on his Instagram:

He mentioned that he was on his way to see a concussion specialist and that's another reason he may have been released by the Panthers. He still has not been cleared to play after he suffered a concussion in September. Oher did show up to training camp though despite rumors he likely wouldn't.
