Controversial college coach comes out of nowhere to trash NFL commissioner Roger Goodell

Absolute trashing of the commissioner on this one.

Washington State head coach Mike Leach is no stranger to controversy as he's had his fair share of incidents as a head coach. Now, he's embroiled himself in the NFL's national anthem protest conversation as he took a direct shot at the commissioner.

Leach was previously fired from Texas Tech for allegedly sticking a player in an equipment room near the practice facility because he had a concussion. He was also handed down the largest fine from the Big 12 (to that point) of $10,000 for absolutely ripping the refs after a game against Texas in 2007.

Goodell has plenty on his plate right now including Ezekiel Elliott's suspension being stayed one more time, Colin Kaepernick suing the league and the national anthem protests. The last thing he needs is a loud coach like Leach making more trouble for him.
