NFL Insider says he's hearing exactly when Bill Belichick will retire

Whether that's shorter or longer truly depends on how much longer Belichick wants to stick around.

As Bill Belichick concludes his 17th year at the top, rumors on when exactly the New England Patriots head coach will hang 'em up is starting to emerge.

According to the plugged in Albert Breer from MMQB, he's hearing 2019, which would give Belichick 20 years as a head coach and would give him three years to put things in place for his successor.

Whether that's shorter or longer truly depends on how much longer Belichick wants to stick around. He's about to run through an unprecedented seventh Super Bowl appearance.

Rumors of Belichick's future retirement come on the heels of owner Robert Kraft detailing a pact between the head coach and himself that they don't talk about his future retirement, but acknowledging it won't be this year.
